On this official celebration of Dr Martin Luther King Jr's birthday, it behooves one to remember one salient fact:
The very last thing that white supremecists want — whether we mean the overtly fascistic Richard Spencer or the slightly less disgusting mock intelligence of the guy whose family sold all those TV dinners to pay for his miseducation or too bloody many members of the House and Senate to count — is to be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.
And the content of their diatribes? Judging that would just not be kosher.
The biggest problem with the John Lewis Voting Rights Act is that it does not go nearly far enough. But that's for another time.
