One Day in Life of Ivan

Greetings from Gulag 43! Silicon Prairie has becoming superconducting — it is colder than politician's heart here at Gulag. Bad enough that, thanks to repainting over summer, storm windows not install properly and need encouragement with hammer to fit. Then furnace goes out, thanks to faulty Soviet circuit board, and temperature in house resembles Omsk street in January. Two packages of warm nice things from Hawaii and from California do not get sent on time. Then car battery dies in cold and booster charge too low to compensate.

Not best of days when planning to shop for dead animal carcass to celebrate last time Americans nice to natives, eh? Would go shoot moose in back yard, but moose scared off by dog.
