An Annoyance

As a veteran, I get very annoyed by hypocrisy in flag display. I'm especially annoyed by conservative businesses — like most banks — that persist in flagwaving, "pro-America" publicity and fly the American flag in bad weather conditions while it's reduced to tatters.

And are then rude on the telephone when they're notified of the problem.

Of course, hypocritical "patriotism" never seems in short supply. Especially when there's an external threat to the nation... however indirectly connected.
