Note: I haven't seen the opinion, or even the syllabus, yet, but news reports indicate a unanimous decision against the software providers. One news report hints that it was at least partially based on the willful blindness theory Judge Posner put forth in Aimster, but we'll just have to see.

If you care about the state of the law, start here — Howard's commentary is far better balanced, better informed, and better considered than any of the media outlets.
